50 years of Müller Gerätebau
Innovation and quality since 1975
50 years of Müller Gerätebau GmbH stand for innovation, quality and a strong team. We would like to thank all our customers, partners and employees who have accompanied us on this journey and look forward to the next successful decades.
The foundation: The start in Moos on Lake Constance
Müller Gerätebau GmbH was founded by Helmut and Margarete Müller on January 1, 1975. In a small workshop in Moos 2 on Lake Constance, they laid the foundations for a company that is now successful worldwide.
The move to Hechingen: A big step forward
As early as 1978, the company moved to Hechingen, where the garage at the family home initially served as the production facility. A decisive milestone followed in 1983: the purchase of a 500 m² production hall in Rangendingen-Höfendorf. In the same year year Walter Müller, the current senior partner, joined the family business. At that time, the team consisted of just three people - mother, father and son - and the production hall was only equipped with two assembly benches.
Growth and initial successes
In 1985, the production hall was expanded to include the first two machines, which are still in reliable use today. A phase of growth began with the recruitment of the first employee in 1988. For the first time, the company was able to international customers from Sweden, England and Israel.
Expansion and innovation
In 1990, Müller Gerätebau GmbH planned a further 500 m² production and storage hall, which was completed in 1993. Five years later, in 1995, the company achieved an important success: for the first time, over 1,000 units of the FAG800 model were sold for the first time
Generational change and expansion
After 25 years of company management, Helmut Müller handed over the reins to Walter Müller in 2000. The continuous expansion of the company led to the construction of a new office building in 2008 and a new production hall in 2013. Since then the company has been able to meet the growing demand for its products even more efficiently.
The next generation takes over
Marc Müller joined the company in 2014, followed by Eileen Müller in 2018. Since 2024, both have been managing Müller Gerätebau GmbH together with their father Walter Müller. Today, the company is a globally operating company with systems and devices that are in use in around 60 countries.
